We are currently seeking licensed clinical therapists to provide in-person, virtual, and community-based sessions depending on client needs at our Columbia, Maryland location and throughtout the state of Maryland. Applicants must be licensed in the state of Maryland to be considered.

Position Purpose:

The Clinical Therapist I will be responsible for conducting intakes, completing comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and providing individual therapy and community referrals as needed. This role will also involve facilitating psychotherapy sessions and offering substance abuse counseling services. The Clinical Therapist will collaborate closely with the clinical team to ensure the delivery of high-quality therapeutic care and support to clients. Crown Oasis Mental Wellness fosters a supportive and flexible work environment, designed to empower clinicians in their practice.

Hours/Schedule:

This is a part-time contract position with the potential to transition to full-time upon request. Therapists have the flexibility to pick their own hours and create a schedule that fits their lifestyle and preferences.

Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Develop and implement crisis management strategies for clients in acute distress
- Incorporate counseling principles into therapy sessions, as applicable
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients with co-occurring disorders
- Utilize psychopharmacology knowledge to work in conjunction with psychiatrists and medical professionals for medication management
- Implement behavioral health therapy techniques to help clients modify maladaptive behaviors and develop coping skills
- Engage in case management activities, including coordinating care with external agencies and resources

Requirements:
- Master's degree in Counseling or related field
- Current state licensure as LGPC
- Experience in mental health counseling, preferably in a clinical setting
- Strong crisis management skills and ability to work effectively under pressure
- Familiarity with psychopharmacology and ability to collaborate with medical professionals on medication management
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and ability to implement them in treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement and collaboration with other professionals
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in counseling practice
