Crown Motors LLC is expanding operations at our dedicated fleet center in Redding, CA. We keep local businesses, municipal agencies, and commercial accounts moving. We are looking for an experienced Ford Fleet Service Technician who prioritizes high-quality mechanical troubleshooting and fast turnaround times over formal paper credentials.

Core Responsibilities

• Fleet Diagnostics: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain light-to-medium duty Ford fleet trucks, vans, transit vehicles, and hybrid platforms.
• System Overhauls: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic powertrain systems using Ford IDS (Integrated Diagnostic System) equipment.
• Minimize Downtime: Execute rapid-response diagnostic and preventative maintenance to ensure commercial client vehicles stay on the road.
• Detailed Logging: Keep clear, accurate service records and warranty documentation compliant with dealership and manufacturer standards.
  
  

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience repairing Ford or comparable domestic fleet platforms.
• High proficiency with advanced electronic diagnostic software, wiring schematics, and mechanical system teardowns.
• Formal certifications (ASE or Ford Factory Training) are heavily preferred but not mandatory for individuals with verified journey-level field experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  
  

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Pay Scale: $33.00 – $50.00 per hour flat-rate, scaled heavily based on your specific diagnostic speed and experience level.
