GENERAL PURPOSE
The On-Site Linen Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for restaurant and banquet linen services within the hotel. This role is responsible for organizing, distributing, and tracking food and beverage linens to support daily restaurant operations and banquet events. The coordinator works closely with hotel staff and the laundry service provider to ensure linens are available, properly staged, and accurately accounted for.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive and organize incoming deliveries of restaurant and banquet linens.
- Distribute linens to the hotel’s restaurant, banquet, and food & beverage departments as needed.
- Stage linens for upcoming events and ensure proper quantities are available.
- Collect and prepare soiled linens for pickup and return to the laundry facility.
- Maintain organized linen storage areas to ensure efficient access and inventory control.
- Track linen usage and assist with basic inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Communicate linen needs, shortages, or issues with both hotel management and the laundry service team.
- Assist hotel staff in locating appropriate linens for specific events or service needs.
- Ensure linens are handled in a clean, organized, and professional manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION /QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- High School or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills are a must.
- Excellent organization skills (able to multi-task, prioritize, plan, and execute).
