What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Volleyball Coach position at Crown Leadership Academy?
Crown Leadership Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Head Volleyball Coach to lead and oversee our girls' volleyball program, including Middle School, Junior Varsity, and Varsity teams.
We are looking for a coach who is passionate about developing student-athletes both on and off the court, building a positive team culture, and fostering excellence through leadership, sportsmanship, and skill development.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the school's volleyball program for Middle School through Varsity levels.
- Plan and conduct practices appropriate to each team's developmental level.
- Prepare athletes for competition through skill instruction, conditioning, and team-building.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration.
- Promote a culture of character, accountability, teamwork, and respect.
Schedule:
- Practices: Mondays and Wednesdays, approximately 3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (practice times vary by team level)
- Games: Tuesdays and Thursdays, with start times generally between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
- Season runs August through October.
