Duties
- Spray foam insulation materials according to blueprint specifications and project requirements
- Install insulation in walls, ceilings, attics, floors, and other designated areas using hand tools and power tools
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling equipment such as ladders, scaffolding, and power tools to prevent accidents
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics to ensure precise installation aligned with project plans
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with insulation materials or installation techniques
- Collaborate with carpenters, masons, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate installation processes
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials properly
Qualifications
- Prior construction experience with a focus on insulation installation or related trades such as carpentry or roofing
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Proficiency in using hand tools (e.g., knives, tape measures) and power tools safely
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and proper use of safety equipment including ladders and scaffolding
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials precisely
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of HVAC systems or metal stud framing is a plus
- Strong communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
- Physical ability to climb ladders, work at heights, lift heavy materials, and perform physically demanding tasks
