Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and buffing to ensure a polished appearance
- Handle janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and sanitizing surfaces
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance or cleaning needs and report issues promptly
- Assist with light custodial duties including furniture arrangement and minor repairs when necessary
- Support industrial cleaning projects or specialized floor care tasks such as stripping and sealing floors
- Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors
- Experience with commercial or industrial cleaning environments is highly desirable
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
