Role Description
We are hiring a full-time Distribution Center Manager to oversee operations at our Binghamton, NY facility. This is a hybrid role with some opportunities to work from home. The Distribution Center Manager will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, optimizing inventory workflows, supervising staff, and ensuring timely and accurate shipping. The individual will assess and adjust processes for efficiency, maintain compliance with safety regulations, and ensure high service levels. Collaboration with internal teams to forecast inventory needs, monitor performance metrics, and execute logistics strategies is key to this role.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse management, inventory optimization, and distribution processes
- Strong leadership and team management skills, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation
- Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management tools, as well as knowledge of industry safety regulations
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams and vendors effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)
- Familiarity with ERP & WMS systems and data-driven decision-making is a plus
