Crouse’s Materials Management Department provides the best in patient care and promote community health maintenance of an efficient and effective supply chain to include linen, receiving, inventory management, distribution, and equipment decontamination. The Materials Management team is hiring a Materials Management Technician.

Schedule: 11:00pm - 7:30am; Tuesday- Saturday, other shifts as needed, weekends as needed, rotating holidays

Pay Range

Non-Certified: $20.00 - $28.37/hour

Certified: $20.50 - $30.34/hour

Materials Management Technician Position Responsibilities

• Routinely verifies supply levels for various areas across the organization and proactively initiates orders to replenish, as necessary.
• Receives supplies, reconciling items and verifies amounts received against appropriate paperwork.
• Receives and efficiently transfers bulk and/or palletized supplies to appropriate areas throughout Materials Management, in accordance with existing stock rotation and replenishment procedures.
• Assists in maintaining accurate inventories by recording accurate item descriptions, amounts of issues, issue unit, and credits. Completes all forms legibly and precisely.
• Monitors telephone/telefax and written requests; accurately records pertinent information; fills and delivers in accordance with stated performance and customer focused service goals.
  
  

Materials Management Technician Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as Sterile Processing/Distribution Technician or Materials Management is required at time of hire or within one (1) year of the hire date.
• Certification with the certifying agency must be maintained throughout their employment at Crouse Hospital, re-certifying as required and in accordance with the certifying agency guidelines.
