What are the responsibilities and job description for the Working Concrete Foreman position at Crouse Construction?
The Foreman will be responsible for managing a crew of 6-10 employees and working under the concrete/bridge superintendent. The foreman will be an active laborer within the crew and will be engaged in various types of heavy construction projects more specifically bridge and heavy concrete construction, (e.g., structures, pile driving, concrete work, steel work) in accordance with plans and specifications in Arkansas.
- Must have experience in reading plans.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a foreman or lead man role.
- Must be able to work closely with superintendent and inspectors on the job.
- Must be able to manage the crew when the superintendent is not onsite.
Must have experience in the following:
- Concrete finishing and formwork
- Welding
- Heavy equipment operation
- Steel erection/structural steel/rebar
- Must be able to perform physical activities that will require climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, kneeling, bending, and handling of materials, equipment, and tools.
- Have a valid driver license.
