We are looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker Technician with extensive experience in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) to join our team. This role will involve performing routine maintenance and repair tasks across our facilities, with a special focus on HVAC systems, as well as assisting with general facility upkeep and maintenance.
All applicants must undergo pre-employment drug screening, which includes testing for marijuana,
as well as background checks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following tasks are necessary for the role. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, and ventilation units.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Troubleshoot issues and perform diagnostics on thermostats, compressors, refrigerants, and ductwork.
Assist with general maintenance tasks, including basic electrical work, carpentry, painting, and plumbing.
Monitor HVAC performance to ensure compliance with energy efficiency standards and regulations.
Maintain detailed logs and documentation of completed work, including parts used.
Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed, including being on-call.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
A High School diploma or GED is required.
HVAC certification is mandatory.
EPA 608 certification is required; NATE certification is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum three years of experience in HVAC.
Other:
Knowledge of building systems and general maintenance procedures.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
A valid driver’s license and insurance are required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working on rooftops, in mechanical rooms, and varying temperatures.
Capable of climbing ladders, crouching, and standing for long periods.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment is diverse, encompassing both indoor and outdoor settings across various locations. May encounter varying conditions, including cramped spaces, extreme temperatures, and exposure to weather elements.
