Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of the maintenance associate is to maintain and repair machinery, equipment, physical structure, and grounds at CROSSROADS, INC. commercial and residential facilities. When necessary, drive truck and cover material handling responsibilities.
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Repair and maintain agency’s facilities and equipment for safe and efficient operating conditions, including electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
- Maintain exterior of buildings and items around the building.
- Available for on-call duties; responds to bad weather to clear snow and ice when needed.
- Participate in all required company staff training sessions.
- Perform occasionally moderate to heavy lifting in addition to bending, twisting, and reaching in the daily performance of duties.
- Will attend forklift training as necessary and perform written and operator testing.
- Must report to the Production Director (or Production Manager in the Production Director’s absence).
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess knowledge necessary to maintain a variety of equipment and perform a variety of maintenance tasks across several different locations.
- High school diploma or GED
- Possession of a current driver’s license
- Must pass appropriate background checks
- Some knowledge of material handling, shipping and receiving
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Able to tolerate low and high temperatures

- Ability to follow safety regulations necessary in performing required duties
- Ability to learn and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to meet the physical requirements necessary to perform all functions
- Ability to use tools and equipment to perform duties in a timely manner
- Ability to maintain punctual attendance
