Job Overview:
The Clinician provides therapeutic services to clients participating in the inpatient mental health and substance use treatment program. This role is responsible for conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, facilitating group and individual therapy sessions, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure coordinated, person-centered care.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- · Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations upon admission.
- · Develop, review, and update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and the treatment team.
- · Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities.
- · Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
- · Participate in daily clinical meetings, treatment team reviews, and case consultations.
- · Provide psychoeducation and relapse prevention planning for clients and families.
- · Assist with discharge planning, referrals, and coordination of aftercare services.
- · Ensure compliance with confidentiality and HIPAA regulations at all times.
- · Respond appropriately to client crises and participate in de-escalation and safety planning when necessary.
- · Maintain current knowledge of best practices and emerging trends in mental health and substance use treatment.
Requirements:
- · Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related behavioral health field required.
- · Active Indiana licensure (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, LCAC, or equivalent) or license-eligible status required.
- · Minimum of one year of experience providing therapy in a mental health or substance use treatment setting (inpatient experience preferred).
- · Strong understanding of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria, co-occurring disorders, and trauma-informed care principles.
- · Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
- · Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
