What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asst Branch Manager position at Crossroads Bank?
Major Duties:
- Management of teller line: schedule, balancing issues, review/approval of transactions as needed
- Welcome and train new tellers on policies and procedures
- Open new accounts: all forms of deposit accounts and add on services
- Personnel management: timecard review, input on reviews
- Manager customer accounts: overdrafts, refunds, cross sell opportunities
- Manage non-interest expense and income to the most profitable opportunity
- Digital banking questions and customer support
- Debit card questions and customer support
- Instant issue debit card machine operation and maintenance
- Complete location opening/closing procedures in a safe manner
Minor Duties:
- Back-up branch manager in absence
- Perform teller duties when required
- Originate and close consumer loans
- Review obituaries, place appropriate holds and prepare necessary paperwork
- Assist in resolving daily balancing issues
- Training review of products, policies, procedures during monthly branch meetings (all staff)
- Attend management meetings as required
- Maintain a sufficient understanding of and adhere to regulatory compliance requirements as applicable, including BSA/OFAC
- Courses and seminars as offered
- Other Duties as Assigned
