• Assess student progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and project-based evaluations; provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively using proven behavior management techniques to create a respectful and productive learning environment.
• Mentor students individually or in small groups to support diverse learning needs, including literacy education and special education accommodations.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional design, and school-wide initiatives to promote academic excellence.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and instructional activities; prepare reports for school administration and parent-teacher conferences.

• Expertise in curriculum development, instructional design, and lesson planning tailored for diverse learners.
• Strong knowledge of the Chicago Manual of Style, AP style, proofreading, and copy editing to ensure high-quality educational materials.
• Excellent communication skills for working with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators; adept at classroom management and organizational skills.
• Experience with learning technology platforms and digital tools to enhance instruction and student engagement.
• Background in linguistics, creative writing, journalism or related fields that enrich language teaching methodologies.
• Proven ability to mentor students effectively while supporting higher education teaching practices.
• Familiarity with standardized testing procedures, research methods, library services, and education administration practices.
• Prior experience in private schools or Montessori settings is a plus; knowledge of behavior management strategies is essential for fostering positive classroom environments.
