Seeking Position
The Residential Technician is responsible for assisting and carrying out a variety of clinical and program services. This person is an essential role in the assurance of the admitting process, orientation to new residents and overall resident management. We are seeking a qualified candidate who displays professionalism, practices ethical principles, is detail-oriented and reliable.
Additionally
- Supervises self-administration of resident medications
- Facilitates assigned groups/meetings/activities and documents observations/milieu interventions in resident records/shift log during every shift/group
- Facilitates daily activities in a residential setting; waking up residents, chores supervision, assists with laundry, etc.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma (college degree preferred)
- Minimum of one (1) year training/experience in addiction preferred and/or currently pursuing a degree in addiction or related behavioral health field. Experience must include at least one (1) year of experience with target population (chemical dependency and/or mental health)
Skill Requirements
- Strong documentation skills
- Experience in KIPU is a plus
License
- RADT/RAC (required)
- Valid driver's license with clean record (mandatory)
- CPR & First-Aid Certificate
