What You Will Be Doing

• Facilitating hour-long life skills workshops for K-8 students addressing topics including public speaking, concentration, and constructive feedback exchange
• Administering Test2Pass mastery assessments following each workshop to verify genuine skill acquisition rather than passive attendance
• Conducting daily motivation sessions leveraging student profiles, personal interests, and Coachbot analytics to achieve 100% cohort attainment of weekly app progression targets
• Employing narrative techniques, incentive structures (school currency systems, leaderboards), and individual relationship-building to overcome student disengagement
• Monitoring cohort satisfaction metrics toward a minimum 90% benchmark on student survey instruments
  
  

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Delivering traditional lecture-based instruction. Academic advancement occurs through self-directed AI-powered platforms, not direct teaching from you.
• Providing passive supervision. The environment features students working on computers; the role demands active facilitation.
• Compromising standards in response to student resistance. Test2Pass benchmarks remain fixed, independent of individual student circumstances.
• Creating original curriculum materials. Workshop frameworks and lesson structures are supplied; your responsibility is executing them with the facilitation skill and narrative power that drives authentic student learning.
• Handling parent communications, admission processes, or campus operational management. Those functions belong to separate positions.
  
  

Youth Program Director Key Responsibilities

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any field
• Minimum 3 years of direct experience working with K-8 (elementary and middle school) age students
• Strong storytelling and facilitation capabilities — capacity to sustain children's engagement throughout hour-long sessions
• Availability to work on-site at Alpha's Brownsville, TX campus
• Authorization to work legally in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
