What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tenant Improvement Project Manager, 2 Hour Learning (Remote) - $100,000/year USD position at Crossover?
Most construction project managers track timelines. This role requires you to enforce them—and repair them when real-world conditions disrupt the plan.
2 Hour Learning is building a national network of microschools that compress a full day of education into two hours through AI integration. Success in this model requires execution speed and precision in physical construction. Permitting bottlenecks, sequencing errors, and coordination breakdowns all slow deployment. This position is designed to eliminate those obstacles and make construction predictable and scalable.
You will work directly on-site to drive builds forward. Managing contractors. Holding schedules. Resolving sequencing conflicts before they cascade into delays. You will also leverage AI and digital systems to reduce manual overhead, enhance project visibility, and improve execution velocity. This is active, interventional project management. When timelines drift, you are the person who steps in and restores control.
If you have construction experience but have been frustrated by weak coordination, lack of accountability, or endless reactivity, this is your opportunity to lead execution properly—and at scale.
What You Will Be Doing
Ensure on-time completion of school construction projects through hands-on site coordination, rigorous schedule management, and the strategic use of tools and AI to enhance speed and reliability.
Basic Requirements
Education is broken, but 2 Hour Learning is proving it doesn’t have to be. They’re tearing down the outdated one-size-fits-all model and replacing it with AI-driven personalized learning that helps kids master academics in just two hours a day.
With students consistently ranking in the top 1-2% nationally and the top 20% achieving an astonishing 6.5x growth, they’re proving that smarter learning is possible. At 2 Hour Learning, it’s talent and performance that matter.
They offer a dynamic, on-campus and remote-friendly environment where innovators, educators, and AI specialists can be a part of fixing a broken school system.
2 Hour Learning is reprogramming learning for the AI era.

- Experience managing or coordinating project schedules, including developing timelines, monitoring milestones, and holding teams accountable, with at least one documented example of responding to a delay or variance
- Proficiency in at least one digital project management platform (e.g., Procore, Asana, MS Project), with the ability to describe its application on an actual project
- Practical knowledge of construction trade sequencing, with the ability to discuss a scenario where sequencing choices affected project timing
- Familiarity with permitting workflows (submissions, reviews, revisions, authority interactions), including direct participation in at least one permitting cycle
- Proven application of AI tools to accelerate tangible work tasks, with a specific example of the tool, the output it produced, and the method used to validate results
- Availability to work on-site at least 3 days per week, with approximately 60% travel across the United States depending on project demands
- Based in the United States with authorization to work without requiring visa sponsorship
- Experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously
