What You Will Be Doing

• Facilitating adaptive reading workshops that build phonics, comprehension, and fluency capabilities
• Creating personalized motivational experiences using gamified literacy benchmarks
• Examining student performance data to improve teaching methods and generate actionable findings
• Partnering with engineers to assess and refine AI literacy platforms based on classroom outcomes
• Building scalable, AI-integrated content that helps early elementary students reach grade-level reading proficiency
  
  

Basic Requirements

Reading Teacher key responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree plus advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years of experience providing small-group reading interventions to early elementary students
• Capable of assessing reading levels, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated instruction independent of pre-written curricula
• Experienced with AI/adaptive learning tools and able to respond to student interactions within these platforms
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship requirements
• Available to work on-site at one of our campus locations: Phoenix, AZ; Austin, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Plano, TX; Tampa, FL; or Dorado, Puerto Rico

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
