What You Will Be Doing

• Guiding students to establish and reach personal learning objectives, helping them develop as self-directed learners.
• Delivering focused instruction in social-emotional competencies and core literacy skills with Reading Specialist support.
• Creating a classroom culture that promotes curiosity and resilience through engaging, hands-on learning activities.
• Leveraging and adopting AI-powered tools to improve educational results, equipping students for a future where technology enhances traditional learning approaches.
• Working alongside educators and counselors to support each student's distinct path, responding to their individual learning requirements and preferences.

Reading Interventionist Key Responsibilities

💡 Lead the cultivation of independent learning capabilities and life skills for Kindergarten - 2nd graders, positioning young learners for educational achievement and personal development.

Basic Requirements

• Willing to work onsite at one of our campuses: Austin, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Tampa, FL; or Scottsdale (Phoenix), AZ.
• A college degree in any field.
• At least 3 years of experience working with children ages 4 - 8 years old in educational, afterschool, sports, or related settings.
• Demonstrated ability to apply a growth mindset and high-performance coaching strategies effectively.
• Comfortable with and enthusiastic about using AI and other technologies in educational settings.
• Legally able to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
  
  

Nice-to-have Requirements

These qualities will strengthen your application, but as long as you meet the above requirements, you should apply!

• A degree or certification in a field related to early learning (education, child development, reading intervention, etc.)
• Certifications or advanced training in early childhood learning methodologies such as CDA, Montessori, or Reggio Emilia.
• Experience as a K-2 teacher, reading coach, or literacy specialist with formal training or professional development experience in a reading & phonics frameworks.
• Experience in settings that emphasize personalized learning paths and educational technology.

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
