We combine AI-adaptive technology with skilled teaching through our 2-Hour Learning framework to accelerate reading progress. Your role: create and execute workshops that produce measurable improvements in phonics, fluency, and comprehension for early elementary learners, then support the expansion of that framework to campuses nationwide.

This role is not about completing lesson-plan forms. It centers on data-informed teaching, technology partnership, and constructing a reading system that serves thousands of students effectively.

What You Will Be Doing

• Conducting adaptive reading workshops that strengthen phonics, comprehension, and fluency competencies
• Creating personalized motivational experiences using gamified literacy benchmarks
• Reviewing student performance data to refine teaching methods and identify actionable patterns
• Partnering with engineering teams to assess and improve AI literacy platforms based on classroom outcomes
• Building scalable, AI-enhanced materials that support early elementary students in reaching grade-level proficiency
  
  

Basic Requirements

Reading Teacher key responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree plus advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
• A minimum of 2 years delivering small-group reading interventions to early elementary students
• Capable of assessing reading levels, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated instruction independent of pre-packaged curricula
• Experienced with AI/adaptive learning platforms and able to respond to student engagement patterns within them
• Legal work authorization in the U.S. without sponsorship requirement
• Available to work on-site at one of our locations: Austin, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Plano, TX; Tampa, FL; or Dorado, Puerto Rico

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
