What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating adaptive reading sessions focused on building core competencies in phonics, comprehension, and fluency
- Creating individualized motivational experiences that engage students and foster a sustained commitment to reading
- Reviewing student achievement metrics to iteratively improve instructional methods and generate practical recommendations
- Working alongside technical staff to assess and refine AI-powered literacy platforms
Reading Teacher key responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree accompanied by specialized certification in reading pedagogy (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or comparable credential)
- Minimum of 2 years delivering targeted reading interventions in small-group settings to early elementary learners
- Capable of evaluating reading proficiency, organizing student cohorts, and creating differentiated lesson plans independent of packaged curricula
- Comfortable utilizing AI/adaptive learning platforms and adjusting instruction based on student interaction patterns
- Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship
- Available to work on-site at one of the following locations: Chantilly (Washington), VA; Lake Forest (Orange County), CA; San Francisco, CA; Miami, FL; or New York City, NY

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
