What You Will Be Doing
- Conducting adaptive reading sessions focused on building core competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension
- Creating individualized motivational experiences that engage young learners and foster enduring enthusiasm for reading
- Reviewing student performance metrics to iteratively improve instruction and extract meaningful insights
- Working alongside technical staff to assess and refine AI-based literacy platforms
Reading Interventionist key responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree accompanied by advanced credentials in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or comparable certification)
- Minimum of 2 years delivering small-group reading interventions to students in early elementary grades
- Capable of evaluating reading proficiency, forming instructional groups, and creating differentiated lessons independent of pre-packaged curricula
- Experienced with AI and adaptive learning technologies, and able to respond effectively to student interaction patterns within these systems
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship
- Available to work on-site at one of the following campuses: Chantilly (Washington), VA; Lake Forest (Orange County), CA; San Francisco, CA; Miami, FL; or New York City, NY

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
