What You Will Be Doing

• Conducting adaptive reading workshops for 4-7 year olds that build core competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension
• Creating personalized motivational experiences that engage students and foster a lifelong passion for reading
• Reviewing student performance data to iteratively improve your methods and identify actionable insights
• Working alongside the technology team to assess and refine AI literacy platforms

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Master's degree or advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years of experience providing small-group reading interventions to early elementary students
• Capable of evaluating reading levels, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated instruction independently of pre-written curricula
• Experienced with AI/adaptive learning platforms and able to respond to student interactions within them
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Willingness to be on-site at one of our campuses: Lake Forest (Orange County), CA; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA; San Francisco, CA; Santa Monica, CA; Chicago, IL; New York City, NY; Chantilly (Washington), VA

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
