What You Will Be Doing
- Leading adaptive reading workshops for children aged 4-7 that build core competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension
- Creating personalized motivational experiences that engage young learners and foster a lasting passion for reading
- Reviewing student performance data to iteratively improve your methods and generate actionable insights
- Working alongside the technology team to assess and improve AI-powered literacy platforms
- Following pre-packaged curricula or published instructional sequences
Cultivate a passion for reading in young students
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree or advanced certification in reading instruction (such as Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years delivering small-group reading interventions to early elementary learners
- Capable of evaluating reading levels, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated instruction independently of pre-written curricula
- Comfortable using AI and adaptive learning platforms and adjusting instruction based on student interaction data
- Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Available to work on-site at one of our locations: Lake Forest (Orange County), CA; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA; San Francisco, CA; Santa Monica, CA; Chicago, IL; New York City, NY; Chantilly (Washington), VA

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
