What are the responsibilities and job description for the Peak Performance Coach, Alpha - $150,000/year USD position at Crossover?
You've accomplished difficult things. You understand what real standards look like. You can distinguish between effort and execution. If you're ready to apply that discipline where it shifts a student's path forward, this position is designed for you.
Alpha School leverages AI-driven 1:1 instruction, enabling students to complete core academics in approximately two hours daily. The remaining time is dedicated to life skills, passion projects, and meaningful development. At our most demanding campuses, students require more than oversight—they need a credible mentor who can assess the environment, establish expectations, and guide them through resistance, lack of focus, and uncertainty.
This is not conventional classroom teaching. You won't deliver lectures, assign grades, or develop lesson plans. You will coach. You will facilitate structured life-skills training. You will analyze data to identify obstacles preventing student progress, then apply precise, supportive pressure until they execute.
If you hold an elite credential and have consistently elevated others' performance, we want to speak with you. Apply to help create a campus environment where students arrive prepared, develop genuine capabilities, and surpass challenging targets.
What You Will Be Doing
This position ensures that students at Alpha's most rigorous campuses remain deeply engaged and accomplish sustained development and life-skill proficiency through elite, high-standards coaching.
