What are the responsibilities and job description for the Math Content Reviewer, LearnWith.AI (Remote) - $200,000/year USD position at Crossover?
Many educational software products mistake engagement for genuine learning. The outcome is material that appears stimulating at first glance but fails to consistently foster comprehension. Evidence from research on explicit instruction and multimedia learning offers a more defined path: learners benefit when instruction is organized, transparent, properly sequenced, and constructed to minimize extraneous cognitive load.
LearnWith.AI has adopted a more rigorous stance. Rather than viewing instructional video as merely a content challenge, the organization approaches it as a matter of measurable learning outcomes. This position has been created to ensure that each math video satisfies demanding standards for direct instruction, robust pedagogy, and learning science, preventing scale from undermining student comprehension.
This position requires someone capable of reviewing a lesson and rapidly identifying whether its structure accomplishes genuine instructional objectives. You must be equipped to detect shortcomings in clarity, tempo, demonstration, formative assessment, and conceptual progression, then convert those observations into detailed written guidance. This is neither a general content evaluation position, nor a creative media role, nor a curriculum position disconnected from research-validated instruction.
You will operate at the heart of the product by establishing the benchmark for effective instruction throughout the entire library. If you hold strong convictions about actual student learning in mathematics and seek to apply that judgment to work at meaningful scale, this position offers uncommonly direct influence.
