What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enrollment Specialist, Alpha - $100,000/year USD position at Crossover?
- On-site Miami
- W2
- $100K/yr
Alpha is transforming the definition of school. Our campuses integrate academic excellence, technology-driven instruction, and a coherent educational philosophy that honors students and their families. Admissions is the place where that philosophy becomes tangible. Families approach us with curiosity, doubt, and optimism. Your responsibility is to convert uncertainty into trust.
In this position, you oversee the admissions journey after initial interest has been expressed. You will answer family questions swiftly and with professionalism, organize campus tours and shadow experiences, ensure applicant data is meticulously maintained, and facilitate meaningful discussions that help parents evaluate whether Alpha aligns with their child's needs. This is not an administrative background role. You are public-facing, precision-focused, and responsible for the quality of every family interaction.
This is an on-campus, high-intensity position suited to someone who thrives when managing competing demands without sacrificing accuracy or personal connection. If you value operational excellence, clear communication, and building experiences that feel effortless to others, this role provides genuine autonomy and measurable impact.
What You Will Be Doing
- Answering prospective family inquiries within 24 hours with communication that is clear, warm, and consistent with Alpha's values
- Designing and facilitating admissions events, campus tours, and shadow day experiences for prospective students
- Ensuring applicant records remain precise and current across CRM platforms and admissions systems
- Conducting family meetings to clarify Alpha's educational model, respond to concerns, and capture insights
- Collaborating closely with campus leadership and admissions personnel to advance every family through the enrollment process
- Making final decisions on student admissions or enrollment
- Delivering classroom instruction or supporting day-to-day teaching activities
- Relying on aggressive sales methods or scripted messaging
- Operating in a setting where expectations, priorities, or quality standards are ambiguous
Create and sustain a high-integrity, high-conversion admissions process that supports families from initial outreach through enrollment commitment.
Basic Requirements
- 2 years of customer-facing experience
- At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
- At least 1 year of experience using a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated data accuracy
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written)
- Strong organizational skills and consistent attention to detail
- Availability to work on-campus in Miami, FL, or willingness to relocate
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Background in education, enrollment management, or school operations
- Experience supporting admissions events or parent-facing programs
- Comfort operating in fast-changing, tech-enabled environments
