What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating adaptive reading workshops focused on building core competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension
- Creating customized motivational experiences that engage students and foster enduring enthusiasm for reading
- Reviewing student performance metrics to iteratively improve instructional methods and identify actionable patterns
- Partnering with engineering personnel to assess and refine AI-powered literacy platforms
Educational Technology Specialist key responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree plus specialized certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years delivering small-group reading interventions to early elementary students
- Capable of evaluating reading proficiency, organizing student groups, and developing differentiated instruction independently of pre-packaged curricula
- Experienced with AI/adaptive learning platforms and able to respond dynamically to student interactions within those systems
- Authorized to work legally in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship
- Available to work on-site at one of our campus locations: Chantilly (Washington), VA; Lake Forest (Orange County), CA; San Francisco, CA; Miami, FL; or New York City, NY

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
