What You Will Be Doing
- Deliver individualized and small-group coaching for PreK Guides, demonstrating effective methods and recognizing tangible progress
- Create and lead play-centered instructional experiences that integrate social-emotional learning, early literacy, math concepts, and physical development—setting the standard for the entire team
- Examine and align Guide records each week to ensure rubric consistency and clarity, facilitating calibration meetings that maintain visible tracking of milestone achievement
- Compose family communications and conduct team briefings that synchronize objectives and uphold collective commitments to campus-wide PreK readiness targets
Early Childhood Instructional Coach key responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or related field; Master's degree or specialized credentials preferred
- At least 5 years of professional experience in early childhood education, child development, or a closely related discipline
- Direct experience facilitating learning with young children aged 3 to 5 in group settings
- Demonstrated success designing and executing play-based educational frameworks or curricula that promote developmental milestones, such as Montessori approaches
- Minimum 1 year of experience coaching or supervising educator teams with accountability for performance outcomes
- Excellent written and spoken communication abilities to deliver transparent family communications and ensure team coordination
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without requirement for visa sponsorship
- Commitment to on-campus work at the Alpha Austin location, with relocation support offered as necessary

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
