What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Admissions, Alpha - $200,000/year USD position at Crossover?
Most admissions positions prioritize volume. This position prioritizes alignment.
Alpha is developing one of the most forward-thinking educational models in existence. Our campuses integrate demanding academics, technology-driven instruction, and elevated expectations for both students and faculty. Students routinely advance faster than national averages, supported by measurable outcomes. Afternoon hours are dedicated to deeper exploration, independent work, and practical skill development. The model is effective. But it depends entirely on enrolling the right families.
That is your responsibility.
You will manage the complete enrollment process for a campus, starting with initial inquiry and continuing through onboarding. This is not a role that hands off responsibility. You are accountable for how families perceive us, how thoroughly they grasp the model, and whether enrollment decisions are made with full understanding. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and recommend declining enrollment when appropriate. The objective is not to maximize numbers. The objective is to ensure fit.
We welcome candidates from elite service backgrounds outside conventional education: independent schools, competitive programs, high-end hospitality, executive assistance, premium membership services, or entrepreneurial operators who have directly managed valuable client relationships from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a personalized, multi-phase process with discernment, precision, and consistent follow-through.
If your career has been defined by delivering exceptional service where trust, confidentiality, and experience integrity shape the brand, this role will be recognizable—just directed toward work that genuinely impacts lives.
This is a salaried, full-time, on-site position. We are recruiting in Seattle and Park City. Relocation assistance is provided.
