What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Admissions, 2 Hour Learning - $200,000/year USD position at Crossover?
Most admissions positions emphasize volume. This one prioritizes upholding standards.
Alpha is constructing one of the world's most forward-thinking educational models. Our campuses integrate demanding academics, technology-enabled instruction, and elevated expectations for both students and faculty. Students routinely achieve learning gains that surpass national averages, supported by measurable evidence. Afternoon hours are redesigned to foster deeper learning, autonomy, and practical competency development. The model delivers results. Yet it succeeds only when matched with appropriate families.
This is your domain.
You will control the complete admissions process for a campus, spanning initial application to final enrollment. This position does not involve handoffs. You carry accountability for the family experience, the clarity with which they grasp our model, and whether enrollment choices reflect genuine alignment. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate informed dialogue, and advise against enrollment when circumstances warrant it. The objective is not enrollment maximization. The objective is mission alignment.
We welcome applicants from high-end service sectors outside conventional education: independent schools, competitive admissions programs, upscale hospitality, executive client relations, exclusive membership communities, or entrepreneurial operators who have directly overseen valuable client experiences from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a detail-intensive, multi-phase process marked by sound judgment, transparent communication, and reliable execution.
If your professional background includes delivering exceptional service where confidence, professionalism, and experiential quality represent the brand promise, this role will translate naturally—now applied to work that produces measurable impact.
This is a salaried, full-time, on-campus position. We are currently recruiting in Houston, Southlake, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Nashville, and Chicago. Relocation assistance is provided.
