What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Admissions, 2 Hour Learning - $200,000/year USD position at Crossover?
Most admissions positions emphasize throughput. This one is designed to uphold rigor.
Alpha is constructing one of the most forward-thinking educational frameworks in existence. Our sites integrate demanding coursework, tech-enabled instruction, and elevated expectations for both learners and educators. Students routinely exceed national learning benchmarks, supported by measurable results. Afternoons are reserved for deeper exploration, autonomy, and applicable competency development. The model delivers. But success depends entirely on selecting the right families.
This is your responsibility.
You will manage the complete admissions process for a campus, starting with inquiry and concluding with enrollment. This is not a segmented function. You determine how families engage with us, how well they grasp the model, and whether their decision to enroll is grounded in genuine alignment. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate informed discussions, and recommend declining admission when appropriate. The objective is not enrollment volume. The objective is fit.
We welcome applicants from high-caliber service sectors outside conventional education: independent schools, competitive programs, high-end hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership communities, or entrepreneurial operators who have directly stewarded premium client relationships from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a detailed, phased process with sound judgment, precision, and accountability.
If your background includes providing exceptional service where credibility, confidentiality, and client experience shape the institution's reputation, this position will resonate—applied now to work that measurably improves lives.
This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position. We are recruiting in Chicago, Nashville, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Southlake, and Houston. Relocation assistance is provided.
