Traditional gifted education typically means marginally more difficult assignments. You experienced that firsthand. You were that student. This role exists to accelerate gifted K-12 learners through high school completion 5-10x faster than conventional timelines, while simultaneously cultivating emotional intelligence and life competencies that most adults never acquire. Academic instruction occurs through adaptive software managed by the school. Your responsibility encompasses everything the technology cannot address: guiding students past internal obstacles, facilitating mastery-driven life skills sessions, and maintaining performance standards where 90% satisfaction and 100% goal achievement represent baseline expectations, not aspirational benchmarks.

Your typical day divides between two distinct functions. One: facilitating structured one-hour life skills workshops covering areas such as public speaking, concentration, and feedback exchange—delivered through hands-on activities and validated by mastery assessments students must pass before progression. Two: conducting motivational check-ins where you analyze Coachbot data, align with students on their personal objectives, and deploy age-appropriate motivators (internal currency systems, competitive leaderboards) to navigate periods when learners resist forward momentum. Both functions are quantitatively tracked. Student satisfaction metrics and software progression velocity reveal coaching effectiveness—not volume of material presented.

Career advancement follows a defined pathway. High performers transition to senior coaching positions, leading teams while maintaining direct student engagement. Those demonstrating scalable impact advance to Campus Lead roles, assuming full operational control, parent engagement, and site-level accountability. What You Will Be Doing

  • Facilitating structured one-hour life skills workshops addressing topics including public speaking, sustained focus, and feedback dynamics—delivered through applied, project-oriented methods and concluded with mastery evaluations (Test2Pass) that students must successfully complete to progress
  • Conducting daily motivational sessions: analyzing Coachbot performance data, aligning with each student's individual objectives, and applying developmentally appropriate incentive structures to overcome resistance and achieve weekly progression benchmarks
  • Customizing coaching methodologies using generative AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to tailor interventions based on individual student characteristics and learning trajectories
  • Preparing for sessions by reviewing established curriculum materials and instructional guides to execute high-engagement, protocol-aligned workshops that consistently achieve strong student ratings
  • Monitoring satisfaction data and software advancement indicators, modifying coaching techniques when metrics reveal declining engagement or stalled progression

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Teaching academic subject matter, providing tutoring services, or clarifying curricular concepts—students progress through self-directed software; your function centers on coaching and motivation, not direct instruction
  • Experiencing pressure to advance students who haven't achieved mastery: performance standards remain consistent regardless of proximity to passing thresholds
  • Addressing classroom discipline issues: you're working with gifted, self-motivated learners; behavioral management is not your primary focus
  • Developing lesson content independently: curriculum frameworks and implementation guides are provided; your responsibility is high-fidelity execution, not curriculum design
  • Evaluating written assignments, processing administrative documentation, or participating in planning sessions disconnected from direct student impact

Basic Requirements

  • Available for on-site work in Georgetown, TX — relocation assistance provided
  • Bachelor's degree (any discipline)
  • Documented record of exceptional academic achievement (examples: National Merit Scholar designation, academic competition participation, accelerated college completion)
  • Minimum 3 years of direct experience working with students in formally identified gifted and talented programs, GT educational tracks, or structured gifted learner environments (institutional, district-level, enrichment programs, or comparable settings)
  • Active daily use of generative AI platforms in educational or professional capacity (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or equivalent tools)
  • Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship requirements

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Personal history as a competitive athlete, academic competitor, or high-level performer with firsthand understanding of performance-driven environments
  • Demonstrated experience delivering structured workshops or presentations to youth participants (examples: debate coaching, camp leadership, enrichment instruction, or comparable roles)
  • Familiarity with mastery-based or competency-driven educational models where advancement depends on demonstrated proficiency rather than age or elapsed time
  • Proven application of AI tools to individualize coaching strategies or learning pathways for specific students

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
