What You Will Be Doing
- Engaging with K-8 students as a trusted mentor, cultivating confidence and fostering a growth-oriented mindset
- Leveraging AI and adaptive learning platforms to customize educational trajectories—students advance at their individual pace while you facilitate discovery
- Creating and facilitating life-skills workshops (including public speaking, goal-setting, and collaboration) that equip students for long-term achievement
- Building a culture of inquiry, ambition, and development—supporting students in recognizing their unique strengths and passions
Business Consultant key responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- Exceptional public speaking abilities, with proven experience engaging and energizing groups
- A genuine passion for connecting with, inspiring, and motivating students in grades K-8
- 3 years of experience coaching or mentoring children
- Legal authorization to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship
- Commitment to working on-site at one of our locations: Austin, TX; Brownsville, TX; or Fort Worth, TX
- Availability to participate in a paid training program at our Austin, TX campus

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
