Role Description The Senior Industrial Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Livonia, MI, focused on improving manufacturing processes and operational performance for client and internal projects. This role involves analyzing production systems, identifying bottlenecks, and designing data-driven solutions to increase throughput, reduce waste, and improve quality. The Senior Industrial Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead process optimization initiatives, develop standard work and layout improvements, and support implementation of lean and continuous improvement methodologies. Daily responsibilities include conducting time and motion studies, creating and updating documentation, presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders, and mentoring other team members in best practices. The role also requires close coordination with client representatives to ensure solutions are practical, sustainable, and aligned with business objectives.
