Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Coffee Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bustling coffee shop. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, particularly in kitchen management and customer service. As the Coffee Shop Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality experience for our customers while effectively managing a team of baristas and kitchen staff. Crossings Kitchen will be opening in mid June to early July. We have a drive through window. There will also be a full service restaurant attached to the business. You will be involved and have say in setting up and opening the new coffee operation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Manage food production processes, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Train, supervise, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Implement effective kitchen management practices to optimize workflow and productivity.
- Maintain inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure stock availability.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all areas of the shop.
- Utilize POS systems for transactions and manage cash handling procedures.
- Develop and implement promotional strategies to enhance sales and customer engagement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant or coffee shop management is preferred.
- Strong understanding of food production processes and kitchen operations.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead by example.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for creating positive experiences.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

- A flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.
