Position: Intelligent Identity Engineer (US)

Role Responsibilities
- Design and implement centralized identity and access management systems as a single source of truth.
- Enforce least-privilege access across internal and external platforms by default.
- Integrate Okta with employee, contractor, and partner identity workflows.
- Build AI-driven automation for identity lifecycle management (onboarding, offboarding, role changes).
- Develop scalable abstractions for platform identity, application access, and database permissions.
- Ensure compliance with standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST as systems scale.
- Continuously evaluate and improve IAM tools, policies, and enforcement mechanisms.
- Partner with customers to support external provisioning workflows to third-party applications.
- Stay ahead of trends in identity management, IAM automation, and AI-powered access provisioning.
Requirements
- Strong experience designing and scaling identity and access management (IAM) systems.
- Hands-on experience integrating identity providers (e.g., Okta) with enterprise platforms.
- Deep understanding of least-privilege principles, access controls, and security best practices.
- Experience building automation for identity lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and security standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST).
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and Operations teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
