Job Title: Vendor Relations ClerkLocation: Windsor, CT 06095Pay Rate: $18–$20/hrSchedule: 1st Shift | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | HybridJob SummaryThe Vendor Relations Clerk supports the Vendor Relations Supervisor/Manager by managing the day-to-day repair and equipment request process. This role ensures timely coordination between customers and vendors, accurate recordkeeping, and continuous communication to maintain operational efficiency.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceive customer requests and coordinate vendors for repairs or equipment needs.Record and track all incoming issues in designated systems; follow up to ensure deadlines are met.Provide timely updates to customers and maintain accurate system records.Address vendor-related issues and collaborate with internal teams for resolution.Review vendor quotes and determine next steps, including part orders and service coordination.Verify accuracy of work orders for efficient processing and correct reporting/billing.Monitor team email and systems for new or escalated requests; assist with coverage as needed.Maintain orders within assigned territory to meet team metrics and accuracy standards.Identify process improvement opportunities and assist in implementing solutions.Support onboarding of new vendors and maintain positive vendor relationships.QualificationsEducation: High School Diploma or GED required.Experience: No prior experience required; training provided.Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively.#IND1#ZRCompany DescriptionUsing the best business practices obtained from many years of experience in Business, Law, and Recruiting and Staffing, the Founders at CrossFire Group (“CrossFire”) started in downtown Royal Oak, MI more than a decade ago.
