Overview
We are seeking an experienced SDS Specialist / Product Regulatory Specialist to support regulatory compliance and safety documentation in a highly regulated environment.
This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on Safety Data Sheet (SDS) authoring experience and familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as GHS and/or FIFRA.
This is a fully onsite position supporting a collaborative team focused on product compliance, data accuracy, and regulatory alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update regulatory data to ensure compliance with California Proposition 65
- Author, review, and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Verify externally published SDS documents align with internal records
- Partner with external stakeholders to ensure accurate SDS distribution and updates
- Manage SDS distribution through SAP, ensuring timely delivery
- Compare product labels with SDS prior to printing and document discrepancies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Toxicology, or related scientific field
- 3–5 years of experience working with Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Direct SDS authoring experience is required (must be clearly shown on resume)
- Experience with SAP or ability to learn quickly
- Experience in regulated environments, ideally EHS, GHS, or FIFRA
