Software Developer (Python/ROS2) Responsibilities
- Develop, provision, and validate Python/ROS2-based systems using COTS hardware
- Design and maintain device drivers to ensure optimal system performance
- Improve provisioning workflows through automation and scripting
- Perform software checkout, troubleshooting, and debugging on testbeds and hardware
- Drive system reliability and performance enhancements across integrated platforms
Required:
- Strong proficiency in C/C (embedded, RTOS, Linux) and Python (automation/tools)
- Hands-on experience with ROS/ROS2 and Git-based collaborative workflows
- Demonstrated debugging and troubleshooting across software and hardware systems
- Experience with scripting, automation, and instrumentation or data acquisition systems
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced engineering environment
- Experience with Ansible, Bash, or similar automation tools
- Background in hardware/software integration and embedded systems
- Familiarity with EtherCAT, motor drivers, or control systems
