Our Global Customer Operations team is dedicated to delivering reliable service, technology, and support that helps customers thrive. The Network Support Engineer will provide front-line technical support for customer network issues while ensuring a best-in-class customer experience.
Network Support Engineer Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for customers experiencing network issues across routing, switching, and wireless environments.
- Maintain devices within customer networks and ensure service continuity.
- Document all customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions using provided ticketing tools.
- Monitor ticket queues and follow up to ensure timely resolution within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate support teams while advocating for the customer.
- Mentor less experienced colleagues and support team knowledge-sharing.
- Maintain user, customer, and departmental confidentiality at all times.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 3–5 years of targeted experience in technical support, network operations, or a related IT environment.
- Experience with networking technologies, including routing, switching, and wireless.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability and willingness to work in a 24x7 environment, including weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
- Must be legally able to support servers that host government and legal entities.
- Ability to obtain a Government Confidential Security Clearance.
- Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Cisco certification such as CCNA, JNCIA, or equivalent.
- Experience in a service provider, network services, or service desk environment.
- Understanding of ITIL methodology.
- Experience using ticketing software and customer support tools.
