Responsibilities:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in wireless network performance engineering, focusing on LTE/4G and 5G-NR technologies.
In-depth understanding of 3GPP standards for LTE and 5G (NSA and SA architectures).
Expert-level knowledge of RAN architecture, signaling protocols (RRC, S1AP, X2AP, NGAP), and air interface analysis.
Familiarity with drive testing, post-processing tools, and geo-location performance platforms.
Proven experience with performance management tools and techniques for major RAN vendors (e.g., Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung).
Strong scripting and data analysis skills (e.g., SQL, Python, R) for extracting and manipulating large network datasets.
Excellent communication, presentation, and technical documentation skills.
DESIRED SKILLS:
Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
Experience with virtualization and cloud-native RAN (vRAN/Open RAN) performance analysis.
Knowledge of core network elements (EPC, 5GC) and their impact on RAN performance.
Certifications in relevant networking technologies or vendor platforms.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field is required.

- Responsible for collecting and using hourly and daily service measurement data to optimize the 5G and LTE network.
- Representing the team for feature related projects, new node integration, and other centralized tasks by meeting deliverables and holding other parties accountable per project plan.
- Troubleshooting hardware and performance problems independently or by coordinating with other teams.
- Supporting Network Performance in evaluating and improving areas of poor coverage by identifying system performance problems.
- Reporting issues to appropriate engineers.
- Resolving customer service issues, assisting in implementing solutions, and collecting drive test data in support of performance evaluations and build program prioritization.
