Cyber Security Project Manager Responsibilities
- Manage IT and cyber security projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring adherence to cost, schedule, quality, and scope parameters.
- Lead multi-disciplinary project teams and guide project execution within nuclear site environments.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive alignment and success.
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and value optimization.
- Report to the Principal Project Manager and work cross-functionally with various departments.
- Manage projects with an annual cash flow exceeding $2 million.
Cyber Security Project Manager Qualifications
- PMP Certification (Required)
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or Engineering with 10 years of experience (6 years as a project team member), or 12 years of applicable industry experience with 6 years managing projects.
- Proven experience in Cyber Security within IT environments.
- Ability to work in and around Nuclear facilities; must pass background, drug, and psychological screenings.
- Willingness to travel to Byron, Braidwood, and Quad Cities up to 3 days/week (typically 1 day/week preferred).
