Position Overview:
The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for managing and nurturing existing relationships for the local branch. The Sales Support Specialist provides support to CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC’s (“CCM”) mortgage loan officers in their daily duties to increase loan production levels. The Sales Support Specialist works directly with existing referral partners, CCM customers, loan officers, and processors to ensure a positive customer experience and facilitate timely loan closings. The Sales Support Specialist will act in this capacity for a specified amount of time and transition into a Loan Originator/Loan Officer/Loan Processor role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage existing account relationships for local branch
- Handle a high volume of outbound calls, up to 100 daily
- Provide superior customer service to branch clients including but not limited to Realtors
- Assist in managing leads.
- Reviewing mortgage loan application and documentation, which may include phone and computer work, printing, copying, scanning, emailing, & overnighting documents.
- Communicating with borrowers for follow-up
- Clarify/correct information and obtain additional information, as necessary, via phone, or email
- General clerical and phone support to loan officers and/or loan processors
- Work with management to provide support in various stages and areas of lending and processing
- Schedule and book meetings for Branch Manager and other applicable Managers
- Independently train, learn and grow into a Loan Officer/Originator/Loan Processor with the assistance of Branch Manager
- Continue education with specified designated training programs in order to build a database for future clientele
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- High School or General Education Diploma (GED) required
- Previous sales support or origination experience a plus
- Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and adjust to varied work load
- Must be independent, self-motivated and organized
- Must be high-energy and have a positive attitude
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines
- Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
