Position Overview
The Analyst, Transaction Management is responsible for assisting in the end-to-end execution, settlement, and post-transfer activities of Mortgage Servicing Rights (MSR) transactions. This role ensures accuracy and operational efficiency across all phases of MSR sales, acquisitions, and transfers. Acting as a liaison between internal teams and external counterparties, the Analyst, Transaction Management supports activities across finance, legal, accounting, and servicing operations to ensure smooth and compliant transactions within established timelines.

Job Responsibilities
- Reconcile loan-level and portfolio-level data between counterparties, internal systems, and sub-servicers.
- Maintain accurate transaction records, transfer databases, and reporting logs.
- Support valuation and pricing teams by providing data validation, delivery schedules, and reporting support.
- Update and track key performance metrics, ensuring visibility into transaction progress and outcomes.
- Manage several phases of MSR transactions, including due diligence, settlement, and post-transfer activities.
- Ensure daily operations related to MSR sales or acquisitions comply with deadlines and milestones.
- Coordinate with internal teams (finance, accounting, legal, operations, and servicing) to facilitate the execution of MSR settlements, as appropriate.
- Communicate with sellers, custodians, and sub-servicers to ensure accurate and timely completion of transaction components.
- Prepare and maintain transaction-related documentation, ensuring completeness and compliance with internal procedures.
- Support internal audits, regulatory examinations, and control testing related to MSR operations as required.
- Identify data discrepancies or operational risks and escalate issues promptly to management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 1 years of experience in an operational role, preferably with structured deadlines.
- Experience supporting MSR valuation models and capital markets processes.
- Experience in mortgage servicing, MSR operations, secondary marketing, or related financial services field, preferred.
- Experience in project management, preferred.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Skilled in managing multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Pay Range
- Annual Salary: 65,000.00 - 70,000.00
