About usWe are professional and agile.Our work environment includes:Modern office settingFood providedWe are a third-generation family run business.We service Stop & Shops, IGA's, Big Y, and smaller delisOur Warehouse is Located in Essex, CTWe start at 5:00am Monday Through Friday with weekends and all major holidays off.We are looking for a driver, but there are steps you will need to accomplish to become a driver.You will start in the warehouse. This is where you become familiar with the large variety of products Boars Head has to offer. You will be rotating stock, pulling orders, and working in a refrigerated cooler most of the day. (Lifting 50lbs throughout the day)Once you become familiar with the full line of products we offer, then you will go on a truck as a helper. There you will learn our process on how we deliver to the stores. We are a full-service purveyor. We check in the orders, break down the orders, rotate all of the items brought into the stores, check dates on all the products. We can be in a store for up to 3 hours.After this training process, you can then become a driver yourself.Job Type: Full-time
