Description
Account Managers are primarily responsible for servicing policies (new and renewal) for commercial customers of Cross Insurance, while creating and maintaining strong relationships with customers, underwriters and other professionals.
Duties
- Understand the daily business operations and basic exposures of our customers.
- Make coverage recommendations as necessary
- Manage day-to-day activity on a book of business.
- Respond to customer inquiries including coverage questions, requests for documentation
- Follow-up with underwriters for the timely receipt of quotes.
- Respond to requests from underwriters.
- Prepare renewal summaries and proposals
- Has In-Depth Technical Knowledge of Insurance Coverages & Products to advise clients
- Handles Large Complex Accounts
- 5 or more years’ Experience Preferred
- Provide an Analysis of Coverage
- Attain CE Credits necessary for licensing
Required Job Skills
- P&C Licensure
- 5 or more years’ experience in Insurance preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and understanding of social media platform
- Strong customer service skills and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Compensation: The base salary range for this role is $60,000–$70,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on factors including location, skills, experience, and internal equity.
