Job Summary:
A Certified Surgical Technician (Operating Room Technician) is needed in Colchester, Vermont. This position involves working in the outpatient surgery area with a focus on sports medicine, hand/foot surgery, eyes surgery, urology, and plastics. Candidates must bring their license on the first day. The assignment is scheduled to start on June 29, 2026, for a duration of 13 to 16 weeks.
Job Details:
- Location: Colchester, Vermont
- Specialty: Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician (ORT)
- Schedule: Rotating day/evening shifts, 10 hours per shift, working Monday through Sunday.
- Required Qualifications: Certified Scrub Technician with AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA); Certified Operating Room Nurse (CNOR) preferred. A minimum of 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience is required. Prior travel experience is necessary.
- Preferred Qualifications: CNOR certification is preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.

- IVS to OFFER
- No block schedules for any reason
- Bi-weekly orientations on Monday, next available on 7/13
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
- Complete all work history information (bed count, electronic medical records (EMR), facility type, etc.) for submission
- No public transportation accessible; personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended during the assignment. Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires if applicable.
- Working in a facility that requires full work history and employment gap explanations is mandatory.
