Job Details
- Role: RN PACU Post Anesthesia Care Unit
- Location: Winchester, VA
- Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts (9:00 a.m. 9:30 p.m.), minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Virginia State Licensure or Compact, ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA only), 2 years of experience in Pre-Op, Post-Op, and PACU with Epic electronic medical record experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Epic experience, IV access skills, critical care level experience, Level 2 Trauma experience
- Responsibilities include managing patient recovery, ensuring safe post-operative transitions, and working within an on-campus surgery center with a bed capacity of 16, maintaining patient ratios of 2:1
- Schedule: The position requires working weekdays with one weekend shift per month, and on-call as needed, with a maximum of one week per month
