Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Glenview, Illinois. This role involves working in a busy hospital environment with a focus on providing post-anesthesia care to patients. The position is suitable for qualified healthcare professionals with appropriate certifications and experience in acute care settings. Job Details: Schedule: Rotating start times between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., with end time around 8:30 p.m., averaging 36 hours per week with 9-hour shifts. Required Qualifications: Illinois licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), 3 years of solid acute care hospital experience, at least one travel contract completed, submission with passed EKG test at 80% or higher, critical care PACU experience in an acute care hospital setting, and must submit certifications prior to start. Preferred Qualifications: None specified. Floating: Will work main PACU and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVI) PACU with the same management/hospital. Weekend Requirements: Three weeknights (8 p.m. to 7 a.m.) and one 24-hour weekend per six-week schedule, with 30-minute callback time. On-Call Requirements: Three weeknights (8 p.m. to 7 a.m.) and one 24-hour weekend per six-week schedule, with 30-minute callback time. Holiday Requirements: Per call rotation. Orientation: Four hours, non-billable. Credentials Due: Wednesday prior to start date. Additional Information: The position involves working in the hospital's PACU units, requiring flexibility for rotating shifts and adherence to safety and clinical protocols.
